Sachiko-san, thank you for your comments. I also found Oslo and Norway to be very beautiful, and enjoyed my time there. Although the food was a little tasty, I ordered it mostly because it was interesting. It was a reindeer hamburger, and traditional Norwegian food. In my photograph, the painting on the left is very famous in America, as well. When I was in Oslo, I discovered that there are two versions of "The Scream" by Edvard Munch. One version is in the Munch Museum (pictured here), and another version is in the National Art Gallery in Oslo. I also saw that one, but taking photographs of the Munch paintings in that museum is not allowed.

Two versions of "The Scream"!! Does the other one that you did not picture differ a lot from this one?
ReplyDeleteHi Dongxin,
ReplyDeleteThey are all very similar. They also have his sketches for the painting. I think the other version (in the National Museum) is the more famous one.
Thanks!
